Thank you so much for funding practice jerseys for the girls hockey team! - Rachel Helleloid
Thank you so much for supporting our school, classrooms, and the children at ISD 361! This past month I was able to get some great games and math manipulatives to use with the kids who attend Tier Intervention groups. As you can see in the pictures, on Friday Fun Day we connect learning with fun games. The kindergarteners identified letters and sounds and played "Catch the Fox", while the first graders read CVC words and played "Pop the Pig." We all had so much fun! Playing games also helps reinforce social and emotional skills through turn taking and cooperating with others. - Jody Hamilton
The kids were so excited to see our classroom this morning and all our yoga materials organized when they walked in. Thank you for the wonderful donation of our new 'yoga cart!' My favorite comment from one of the kids: "Mrs.Wood, that is one beautiful cart!" lol. Thanks again for ALL you do for kids. You are so appreciated.

"Ms. Morrison’s Kindergarten class would like to thank the Falls Education Foundation for adding to our classroom library. We are loving all of the books on growth mindset. This is the third year that I have asked for literature on growth mindset for our classroom library. We are so excited to keep expanding our library with books on this important topic. We have been working on ways we can have a growth mindset, make our brain stronger, and face challenges. The books will definitely be used and loved many, many times! Thank you again for your dedication to educators and students.

You probably can't see the smiles behind Mrs.Wood's Third Graders' masks, but they are there! We would like to give a huge thank you to the Falls Education Foundation- we just love our cozy new forest cushions and all the amazing new story books! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts-we love you!
Mrs. West says: Thank you so much for your generous donation! I am so very grateful that every 6th grade student was able to receive an Ojibwe Bandolier bag to design and decorate. Our Minnesota studies include lessons about Ojibwe culture and traditions and the bags provided an opportunity to enhance their learning and engagement! This year, it has been more of a challenge to bring creativity and art into the classroom, so thank you for this opportunity! I was also able to purchase supplemental materials to help with digital grammar and writing lessons. The 6th graders are learning a lot about writing and thanks to these materials, it is more interesting and meaningful for them. We recently entered the Elks Essay Contest with essays on ways to demonstrate patriotism. We are currently working on persuasive essays which creates interesting discussion in the classroom and on Zoom! The students are excited about their writing and my hope is that this lifelong skill will continue to evolve and develop. Thank you for supporting this effort!
Thank you all so much for the time and effort you have invested in making ISD #361 a better place for students. The students are looking forward to reading all of these new books. We have such a generous community!

Formal thank you notes are on their way, but I couldn’t wait another second as we received our cushions yesterday funded by The Falls Education Foundation! I am unable to have upholstery or carpeting in my classroom so my students have been sitting on the hard tiles during whole group time. They have been such troopers, but boy were they excited to have something soft to sit on today!!! Being comfortable will definitely help them focus longer. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping!!!
Sincerely, Mrs. Pavleck and her second grade class |
