Position Overview
Falls Education Foundation is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Coordinator to support FEF’s day-to-day operations. This independent contractor role serves as a key administrative and communications resource for FEF and works closely with the Board of Directors to help advance the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Administration
· Maintain accurate financial records and transactions
· Reconcile bank accounts and prepare financial reports for board meetings
· Track donations, sponsorships, and expenditures
· Coordinate with accountants, auditors, and financial institutions as needed
· Assist with annual reporting and financial documentation
Website Management
· Maintain and update FEF’s website
· Ensure content remains current and accurate
· Post event information, announcements, and other FEF updates
· Coordinate website enhancements and troubleshoot minor issues
Social Media & Communications
· Develop and schedule social media content
· Promote FEF events, fundraising campaigns, and community impact stories
· Assist with email communications, and public outreach
· Help maintain a consistent and positive public presence for the Foundation
Board & Meeting Support
· Attend monthly Board of Directors meetings
· Prepare meeting materials and distribute
· Track action items and support follow-up activities
General Administrative Support
· Assist with event coordination and fundraising activities
· Assist with the FEF Alumni Newsletter
· Maintain organizational records and files
· Respond to routine inquiries from donors, volunteers, and community members
· Support special projects as assigned by the Board
Qualifications
· Experience with bookkeeping and financial administration
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Experience managing websites and social media platforms
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency with Quickbooks & Microsoft Office
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
· Experience working with nonprofit organizations is preferred but not required
