Falls Education Foundation is looking for a Grant Writer!
Falls Education Foundation (FEF) is currently seeking a dedicated Grant Writer to join our team.
As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant
proposals to various funding organizations. Your primary objective will be to secure funding to
support ISD #361’s programs and initiatives with the approval of FEF.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and
has a passion for writing and making a positive impact on society. If you have excellent research
and communication skills and enjoy working independently while being part of a collaborative
team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
-Research and identify potential funding opportunities and grants that align with FEF’s
mission
-Develop a thorough understanding of our organization's programs and initiatives to
effectively articulate their impact and benefits in grant proposals
-Write persuasive, well-researched grant proposals, including budgets, narratives, and
supporting documents
-Collaborate with ISD #361 to gather the necessary information and data for grant
proposals
-Ensure all grant proposals are submitted in a timely manner and comply with the
requirements and guidelines set by funders
-Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and best practices in grant writing to
continually improve our grant acquisition strategies
-Maintain accurate records of all grant applications, deadlines, and follow-up activities
Requirements
-Experience as a Grant Writer with a successful track record securing grants is preferred
-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to
detail
-Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate potential funding
opportunities
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
-Proficiency in using grant writing software and online resources
-Familiarity with nonprofit organizations and a strong understanding of their needs and
challenges
